Life is a Game. This is Our Quest

Curiouser is an expression of the world we want to raise our children in. One of kindness, compassion, optimism, playfulness, openness and, of course, curiosity. Where we can revive the parts of ourselves that thrived, before we had little creatures turning our freshly painted walls into street art, destroying our beauty sleep and (seemingly) robbing us of our ability to be wild & free.

Being a parent can be so hard at times. But we have come to realize that parenthoood has not held back our many facets, it has set them free. It has taught us to be more intentional with our time, make every moment count. Parenthood has restored our belief in magic through the eyes of our kids. We don’t have say goodbye to parts of ourselves that we once cherished, we can simply dust them off and indulge with more intentionality. Playfulness, learning, internal exploration, spirituality and a touch of mischief.

We can have an epic dance party… and still be in bed by midnight.

We can flex, stretch and move…while bouncing a kid on each knee.

We can learn to forage and paint and breathe and tone our voices with our children.

We can sit in 32-degree ice water while a little one is dropping ice cubes on our heads.

We can balance it all and nurture our whole selves, as friends, partners, parents and individuals. Our children feel our energy. It is our parental duty to have as much adult fun as possible.

Our vision is larger than families in the traditional sense. It is spans all generations. It involves grandparents dancing on tables (low tables, after having signed waivers) while a child rolls by on a unicorn pony cycle wearing fairy wings. It is a mom feeding a baby formula with one hand and turning dials of a mixer with the other, while dad is playing violin just behind. And not just moms and dads and children and grandchildren but all people who share the same values. You don’t need to have a kid to live in our Curiouser world (but you do need to tolerate them 🤪). Our world is about chosen family.

Most importantly, we need one another, especially when things get hard or lonely. Thank you for your trust. This is just the beginning. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.
